PwC Switzerland Power BI Virtual Case Simulation

PwC Switzerland Power BI on Forage is a virtual experience of what interns at PwC work on using Power BI. The simulation consists of 4 tasks in total and provides a certificate on completion. In the simulation, I:

  • Completed a job simulation, strengthening my Power BI skills to better understand clients and their data visualization needs.
  • Showcased strong communication skills through concise and informative email communication with engagement partners. I delivered valuable insights and actionable suggestions based on data analysis.
    • Leveraged analytical problem-solving skills to examine HR data, with a particular focus on gender-related KPIs. Identified root causes for gender balance issues at the executive management level, highlighting a commitment to data-driven decision-making.
  • Demonstrated expertise in data visualization by creating Power BI dashboards that effectively conveyed KPIs, showcasing my ability to respond to client requests with well-designed solutions.

    1. Call Center Solution:
      • Create a dashboard in Power BI for visualizing relevant KPIs and metrics in the dataset provided.
      • Utilize the resources provided, including podcasts and articles, to enhance your understanding of data visualization and upskilling.
      • Respond to the client's request by providing a well-designed Power BI dashboard reflecting the requested KPIs.
    2. Churn Dashboard & Customer Risk Analysis
      • Create a dashboard using the defined KPIs to reflect customer demographics and insights.
      • Write a concise email to the engagement partner explaining your findings and providing suggestions for necessary changes based on the dashboard you've created.
    3. Diversity & Inclusion
      • Create visualizations to represent HR data, particularly focusing on gender-related KPIs.
      • Identify and discuss potential root causes for the slow progress in achieving gender balance at the executive management level.
